    Outstanding food and cheerful service. We stopped here on a lark after a visit to George Washington's birthplace. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We were greeted with smiles and every single food item our group of six ordered was quickly and flawlessly prepared from obviously fresh ingredients. We will be back soon!

    This spot is a must visit wherever we are in the area. The food is always great and the owners are super nice. Portions are large and prices are reasonable.

    The food was delicious! Great place and super friendly staff. We went here because of the great reviews. They were true. Everything is homemade and nothing is open from frozen packages. My wife had the pizza and the crust was light and tasty and the dough wasn't over worked liked so many people do. Which leads to a chewy crust. I had the the shrimp Alfredo with linguini. Very large perfectly cooked shrimp in a great Alfredo cheese sauce. With it a super fluffy mini loaf of bread with garlic and butter glazed on top. At this point I can't see my toes anymore. For desert, can't remember the name of it but it was like apple pie cinnamon sponge cake with real vanilla ice cream on top. If you love good food cooked by great people than go here. Or go to the other places on the water and spend to many $$$ eating ok food while trying to capture the servers attention because you emptied your glass 20 minutes ago and they haven't bothered coming back. Your choice.

    if you can find it you will absolutely love it! feels like you are eating at your grandma's house. the food is heavily southern influenced and is a must try if you ever find yourself within an hour drive. it's well worth a major detour.
